How current is this feed?
It rebuilds every minute from the same national feed that powers IDOLCheck alerts. New SPC reports and NWS warnings typically appear within a few minutes of being issued.
What is the difference between a Storm Report and Radar-indicated?
A Storm Report is an SPC verified observation: someone measured or saw the hail, wind, or tornado. Radar-indicated means an NWS warning cited the hazard based on radar signatures; Observed means the warning noted ground confirmation.
Why don't I see the exact location or time of a report?
Public pages show storm activity at county level. Exact locations, warning boundaries, and address-level checks are available in the IDOLCheck app — free to start.
